this Wednesday. Come on up if you want to meet our members, see the
space, find out what we're about, or just eat, work, and chat with
other friendly, geeky, crafty people!
The details:
- Seattle Attic is located at 600 1st Ave, Suite 605, Seattle, WA 98104. The after-hours entrance is on the south side of the building on James St, across from the parking garage. Find "Attic Leigh" in the look-up box to be buzzed in. "Attic" will only get you as far as our in-progress voice system.
- The open house is from 6-9 pm, Wednesday, May 22. There will be a members meeting in the space at 7 pm that everyone else is welcome to sit in on.
- Seattle Attic is, to our knowledge, wheelchair accessible. There is an elevator, no stairs at the front entrance, and ADA-compliant bathrooms. The seating currently available in the space consists of office chairs and a lounging area with cushions on the floor.
- There will be a crockpot of curried chickpeas and rice. Please bring a plate or other container with eating implements for yourself and some food to share. Please list all ingredients as a courtesy to others with food sensitivities and allergies.
- We expect users of the space to abide by all space policies (at www.seattleattic.com/attic-policies), including the code of conduct (www.seattleattic.com/conduct).
- Our walls are still pretty bare. If you want to fix that, bring your awesome women-friendly posters, displayable crafts, other art, print-outs of poems or prints, manifestos, or whatever else you want to share.
We hope to see you there--if you can't make it this week, we'll be there next week!
